Day 9 Mono Orange Juice.

I am continuing to feel well and energetic.

I feel that my body is undergoing some elimination, but I have good energy levels.

I feel well-balanced and there is a joy there that seems to arrive with a mono Orange juice diet. ♥

Juicy Fare

Morning—9 Biodynamic Valencias , juiced in mouth

1 Organic Valencia, juiced in mouth.

Afternoon—I large cup of fresh sqeezed Orange juice, from a juice bar

Early Evening—half a pint of fresh squeezed Orange juice(from Biodynamic Valencias) using

hand squeezer.

Exercise:

40 minute workout

1 and a half hours dancing.

I had so much fun dancing, and my energy really flowed.

Mono Orange Juice—day 4

Day 4 Mono Orange Juice.

I am really enjoying the biodynamic Valencias, they are about half the size of a 'regular' Orange, and very sweet with low acidity.

What is interesting, is that I have not lost much weight, maybe 500gms.But my muscle mass has increased whilst my body fat percentage has lowered. My joints are feeling more fluid and flexible, as they usually do during an Orange juice diet.

Also I find when I am on an Orange juice diet that I do not want to eat until much later in the day. Normally I try to finish eating by 4pm, so after my morning exercise I feel really ready for some breakfast. But with the Orange juice diet, I often go till 11 am or 12 noon before I have juice, despite finishing juicing around 4pm.

I had 6 biodynamic Valencias juiced in my mouth about 1pm.

Then 8 biodynamic Valencias juiced in my mouth about 3pm.

Mono Orange Juice- Day 2

Day 2 Mono Orange Juice.

Morning—about a pint of fresh squeezed juice from Organic Orange, using hand juicer.

Midday— 6 Mandarins (non-organic) juiced in mouth.

Evening— about a pint again of fresh squeezed Orange Juice (non-organic), using hand juicer.

I have ordered some Biodynamic Valencias, so should be pretty much on non-chemical juice from now on.

Exercise —40 minute fast walking 20 mins dance

Sunshine —zero, just lots of wild tropical thunder storms, beautiful.

Oh Bloody Good Juice!

One of the delights of Winter, for me, is the arrival of the Blood Oranges.Not too different on the outside from their cousins the Valencias, they hold a lush secret within.

The outside may be speckled with red or with red undertones; a little hint of what is to come.

Then cut or break into one and within is filled with deep red delights, more luscious than a ruby and filled with sweet life blood for us mortals.

The Blood Orange has more vitamin C than a standard orange and makes more juice than most other Oranges. It is a little juice bomb waiting to explode with flavour. When I lived in the Northern Hemisphere, I got beautiful Bloods from Sicily. The Scilians certainly know a thing or too about great fruit growing and I would go for their beautiful bloody oranges anyday in preference to their bloody Mafia.

Once I spent a month in Malta, close geographically, to Sicily and also a very beautiful island. Apart from two days, I spent the entire month living on Blood Orange juice. Now residing in the Southern Hemisphere, I appreciate that the Aussies have got their act together and are now growing some simply delightful Blood Oranges.

Do try them, a glass of Blood Orange juice looks so spectacular and always get comments such as "What's That!"

Build up your blood with Bloods. Leave the animal blood to the Vampire bats, go with the Fruitbats and drain the Blood Oranges dry!
