Day 48 ♥
Today I was blessed with a beautiful mix of Organic Oranges: some delightful, teeny-tiny syrup balls from a wholefood store in Maroochydore, some larger Valencias from a supermarket, and some very nicely ripened delights from Maleny.
I was also blessed with some great reading matter.
I managed to find Dick Gregory's book, 'Natural Diet for Folks Who Eat: Cookin' With Mother Nature.'
I managed to pick up a first edition from 1971 for just $7 on Ebay.
Gregory was a well known comedian who turned his health and diet right around by going from 280lbs to just 97lbs after an extended water fast.
When he wrote the book in the late 60's/early 70's Gregory was on a fruitarian diet. I saw a more recent video of him speaking out against the factory farming of chickens.
I have just started his book, and it is written in a punchy and entertaining way. A great book to introduce folk to the raw way of life by using personal experience combined with a good sense of humour.I did not miss eating the Figs, sure I could appreciate that they were great quality ripe Figs, but I could appreciate more the wonderful Organic Oranges that I had yesterday.
I feel that I would like to carry on for at least 52 days, to match my longest mono Orange Juice Diet so far, back in 1995.
And hopefully, I have a big Organic order arriving tomorrow full of juicy local Oranges ♥
Life is so abundant for me, and I need to fully appreciate the beautiful abundance in my life right now!

Midday - 2 Supermarket Valencias, 4 Maleny Biodynamic Valencias, and 8 teeny-tiny Organic syrup balls, all juiced in mouth
Afternoon - 2 Maleny Oranges, and 2 teeny-tinies, juiced in mouth.

1 hour fast walking.
