♥ Day 60 Mono Orange Juice ♥

Day 60 ♥
I was thinking about making this my last day on the Golden Nectar, but I got a couple of signs from the world of Orange synchronicity that it was not quite the time to stop yet.
Despite my weight being down, and despite the house-cleaning and elimination that is going on, I feel that I have more endurance than when on a mixed fruit diet.
One of the reasons for this is that when I am carrying Cappi (and the same was true with Camlo, my elder son, when I was on a mono Orange juice diet in 1995) I feel like I could carry him forever. My muscles do not seem to get tired.
When I carried Cappi (13kg/28.6lbs) home from the railway station yesterday, it was more of a joy for my muscles, rather than an effort. And it felt like if I had needed to carry on for another couple of hours then it would not have been an issue.
Another real bonus to the Orange juice diet is feeling in harmony with the heat. I have felt the hot temperatures to be delicious, and I have relished the heat and the sun on my body.
When I hear other people saying how hot they are, then I realize that I am on a different planet to them—The Orange Planet!

I am excited to study a book that I got off the internet.
If you have been following this blog, you may remember the Day 39 post, where I was talking about the California Fruit Growers Exchange and the research they conducted on children's dental health and diet.
Well, with a bit of internet investigating, I managed to get hold of the detailed original report of this research. The book was published in 1934, and is in excellent condition with many photographic plates, and it is filled with data that helps to show the great improvement in gum and tooth health when the children had no other dietary change except the daily addition of two big glasses of Orange juice (with some added Lemon juice).

I do not necessarily hold faith in science, but I do think that having well-documented studies by members of the medical profession, can be very useful in presenting the benefits of fruit to those who desire documented data.

Dear Laurie ♥
Thank you for your comment ♥
I think it may have something to do with cleansing and the removal of blockages.
As Arnold Ehret said: "V=P-O".
Where V=Vitality, P=Power and O=Obstructions.
Maybe the fact that energy flows more easily means longer endurance.
Have a Lovely Day ♥

Anne,
That 1934 study is very interesting. The belief that orange juice is bad for dental health is quite wide spread today. Many so called experts say it destroys tooth enamel. What to believe?

Cheers,
Jeff

I am certainly going to be studying that book.
I think that it was the gum health as well as the tooth health that improved in the study.
The children were on a diet fairly high in dairy, which at the time would be considered very important for dental health. But it was only when the Orange and Lemon juices was added that there was an improvement in gums and teeth.
Then when the Orange juice daily amount was reduced to 3oz from 16oz, the tooth and gum health deteriorated.

I, personally, think that citrus needs to be properly ripe and grown in good soil for it to be optimal.
I do think that poor quality and especially under-ripe citrus can be detrimental to dental health.
And I accept that citrus fruits do not work for everybody.
Have a Great Day ♥
